We have, all are or have at some point of time been a part of a squabble where we know for a fact that we have nothing to do with it yet we are pulled into it.
What to do in situations where even our silence would hurt us so would our word..!!! How to be diplomatic in getting our work done yet not hurt or get hurt by other, these are things which we generally learn through our experiences. We make mistakes and learn or sometimes learn from others mistakes, but in the end we realize that there is always a "Take Away" in every adverse situation and there is always a "Happy Factor" in good times.
At our work place or organization too it is the same..!! We meet different sorts of people coming in from different walks of life, so it goes without saying that each one of us would be different just like the fingers in our hands.
Politics in an organization be it small or big is normal, but being a silent spectator in situations where injustice or biasing of some form is used as a way to trample or cripple someone else's career or professional growth should not be tolerated.
We as human beings must know to stand up for ourselves and for others but for the right cause. It does matter how we say things in an organization by fighting for the right cause and at the same time not getting our throats sliced for not having a business oriented approach.
I would leave each and everyone of you to ponder about what I have written, as I am also trying to figure out how to be diplomatic as most of us I know are simple but we all know that straight trees are cut down first....!!! Please feel free to comment.!!!!!
